Our mission in Haiti is to plant and nurture Reformed Presbyterian churches so that they are self-sustaining, self-governing, and self-propagating.

The MEans Of Grace

We are primarily a ministry of the Word that depends on the ordinary means of God's grace: prayer, preaching of the Word, and use of the sacraments - baptism and the Lord's Supper. We labor to disciple every individual in the congregation - men, women and children - but the emphasis of our strategy is to shepherd Haitian men so that they grow in godliness in all areas of their lives. As these men submit every area of their lives to the Lordship of Christ, we pray that some will become qualified deacons and teaching or ruling elders.  The expectation is that future teaching elders (pastors) will be fully supported by the local congregations.

Christ in you, the hope of glory!
Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ.
— Colossians 1:27b-28

A Maturing Church

In the course of this daily process of preaching, teaching and discipleship, we pray that married men will begin to love their own wives as Christ loves the church. Wives will begin to respect their husbands. Parents will begin to train up their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. That children will begin to obey their parents in the Lord. That single men and women will begin to live lives of purity and service to the Lord. That families will begin tithing to the church, showing hospitality, witnessing to their neighbors, and being diligent in all manner of good deeds.

RPCH/EPRH

We pray that in time a young church plant will grow into a mature church that is self-sustaining, self-governing, and self-propagating. The mature church will sustain itself through the tithes of its members. It will govern itself through its elders. It will propagate itself through the sending out of ordained men from its midst to repeat this same process. As more churches are planted and nurtured  we may see the day when the first reformed Presbyterian denomination in Haiti is established. At the moment, we are considering calling it the Reformed Presbyterian Church in Haiti (RPCH), or in the French language of Haiti, Église Presbytérienne Réformée d’Haiti (EPRH).
